The Texas Association of REALTORS® was established in 1920 and has grown to become one of the largest professional-membership associations in Texas. The association currently employs about 60 people and has more than 80,000 members.
Association business is conducted at two major annual meetings; Convention and Winter Meetings.
There are approximately 89 local REALTOR® associations divided into 16 regions. Each region has annual meetings where members get industry updates, network, and have opportunities for professional development.
The missions of the Texas Association of REALTORS® are to empower its members to influence government, promote private-property ownership, obtain and exchange ideas, and convert information into knowledge for the betterment of our members, consumers, and the real estate industry.
The Texas Association of REALTORS® is the advocate for REALTORS® and private-property owners.
